About Olde Family Skeletons
Welcome to my Olde Family Skeletons! While you are visiting here, please, sign my Guest Book. I have high hopes that this will be a place of discovery and the telling of olde tales which are now waiting to be uncovered. This is also an endeavor to reunite the pieces of our Ostrander-Shelley- Alsheimer family puzzle.

I was raised by my great aunt and great uncle, never really knowing my own mother and father. I met my birth father, Charles Ostrander, when I was 16 years old; but, never reconnected with my mother. I have just recently found out about her and my five half-sisters. There also is a brother who was probably put up for adoption. He was born in the Village of Bath, Steuben County, New York, and named Edward Valentine Ostrander. We all would very much like to find him.

Since family research is an ongoing quest; and, no one ever finishes their family tree, please let me know if you have any new information or advise me of any documented errors.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
